So... I'm thinking the choice is down to either May 15, or May 22 (both Saturdays).
Any thoughts on that?

I just got an e-mail from Paul Mafinger that requested Cotton Fortune's use of the Moist Shack May 20-23...

Yeah, I was slightly wasted when we were discussing potential Aquarium dates and/or potential shack dates on Wednesday.. but May 15 sounds good to me as far as I know.

As far as this goes- Deena says that they were joking when they challenged last year after you guys won (which is clearly no joke).. so we may need to find some other challengers.
Also, if Deena is not involved as a challenger, I'd like to volunteer as a judge.
And, of course, Bull should again preside as Chairman Wu.  (I'll supply the bitin' pepper.. but no bitin' titties.)

If we don't have an Iron City Chef for the Aquarium party we could do the Iron City Man vs. Food Challenge...

Isn't that kind of what the 30/30 challenge was?

That's with the hotdogs and pbrs. With this we create the most outragous food that is extremely difficult to eat within a certain amount of time or a meal that looks hard to finish altogether. example: 108oz steak with all the sides that have to completed in 45-60 minutes.

Have fun with that... I think I'll just stick to drinking and having fun for AQ VI...

Nitpickery me up if you must, but it was taco's not hot dogs.  That would be disgusting... and delicious.

Hot dogs were done the one year.  I forget how many had to be consumed in 24 hours, but it was not pretty.

And Jonah is no longer a vegetarian because of it. (which I've never understood - you'd think it would work the other way around)

That was to see who could eat the most hotdogs. after about 7 or 8 people started to slow down big time. Seran finished with 20 I think and Jonah was one behind. I believe there was a handful of us that did it. I was sick from eating the hotdogs.

Yeah, those hotdogs were bunk!  On an Iron City Chef note, I would like to throw my hat in the ring as a potential judge this year.

On Friday Fitty had discussed the potential merits of moving the I.C.Chef competition to Chincoteague.. but I suppose that's up for discussion.  But regardless, yeah, we need a challenger(s).

I think that if we move it to the Teague I will be at a serious disadvantage due to the fact that the mainstay foods at this venue are seafood, which I can't touch.  I'm not saying that I'm completely again' the idear, but it would up the ante for Bob.

I think someone mentioned it to Kat...

I think there are ups and downs to doing it at Chincoteague... We dunno the quality of the kitchens and the pots/pans included in those houses for the most part. But it would free up the AQ Party VI to only be about the party and not the competition as well...

I'm 100% positive that the quality is on par if not greater than Ponce's kitchen and cookware.

I didn't really pay attention last year (or any other time for that matter) was one of the rules that you could only use ponce's cookware?
