Not so much psychedelic as he just tends to take a lot of vicodin and oxycodon.

What with the $3 pints it's not bad way to stop in, try a few, and then take some home.

Just a reminder about the "brewery tour" - anyone who's interested in going on Saturday, either meet me at my house around 2 PM or at East End Brewing around 2:30 PM.

And of course, the party later on that evening - starts at 7 PM.

You should buy one of these to drink the beer out of.

East End Brewing beers on tap

Quote
Apr 6 2010 - 12:17pm
SPRING CLEANING!

The warm weather is upon us, and we've found ourselves with a bunch of new beers waiting in the wings, so it's time to CLEAN HOUSE!

Starting now, and lasting until it's gone, Snow Melt Winter Ale is just 8 bucks a fill-up at the brewery during Growler Hours.  And the faster you get through it all, the faster we can start tapping some new stuff.

Meanwhile, the draft and bottle lineup from last week (posted below) still holds true.

See you soon! Cheers - Scott

Spring Growler Hours lineup:

I've been a little negligent with the tap list lately, and there have been some changes lately, so her's the latest:

The last of Bouillon De Houblon/Best of the 'Burgh left the building this past weekend.  Look for a new one after next fall's Sharp Edge Homebrewing contest!

Big Hop IPA, Black Strap Stout, Monkey Boy Hefeweizen, Fat Gary Nut Brown Ale, Snow Melt Winter Ale, Session Ale #34:"Blabber N Smoke", Session Ale #36: Nooner Scottish Ale  (last 2 kegs), and the recently tapped East End Witte!

In BIG bottles, we have: 2009 Gratitude Barleywine,Wooden Nickel 5th Anniversary Saison, Smokestack Heritage Porter, and Bigger Hop IIPA.

Hope to see you here soon! Cheers - Scott

Stopping by East End would be pretty cool, but I'll probably be doing some work outside @ 2:30 on any Saturday it's not raining.

If that's the case, then maybe I'll just stop by here on my way to the BBQ portion of the event.

It says at the bottom 'we will honor and fill all growlers'... so does that mean you can bring in a growler from another place and they'll fill it.. cause that's mighty wide (white) of 'em.

They're good people. The guy who owns it is a huge WVU football fan and the guys that work there get almost uncomfortably excited if you buy a beer they really like.

We're gonna have hamburgers and hotdogs and snacks and also have some dessert stuff planned. If you want to bring something else to grill / eat, you're not expected to, but you're more than welcome. Since I remember someone asking me a question about this before, we have a propane grill, its nothing fancy.

Dem spinachballs you make are really tasty

Hmmmm, I was gonna think about driving to Ohio to Hoppin Frog on Saturday, but the cheap Snow Melt Ale sounds tempting too...  decisions, decisions.

Yeah I only got to try a sample of it before, and it was pretty darn tasty. And $8 for any beer at EEBC is good. I hope they still have it on Saturday and haven't replaced it with some summery wheat beer concoction.

Thanks.

Yeah, I still have to work this Saturday, but since I don't know where my growlers are, I'm hoping to just make it up to 3 Sons Dogs to pick up a six pack of different stuff I haven't tried before.  If that doesn't work out, I'll just bring some Irons.
