As others have stated I was too busy at work / too lazy to respond, and had no ideas. That being said I am down for this... both nights. I'll probably bring my kayak. Maybe I'll start brewing some really strong beer in the next few weeks and age it until this shindig... Though I guess this is only 4 months away... damn time, goin all fast!
Yeah, stupid time. Knock it off already! Nick, multiple thumbs up on the beer and kayak, you can stay both nights?

You can also rent Pontoon boats.
I wonder if they still do around Oct. 7th, or if that is considered "off-season"? Feel free to look into it, if not i'll get to it at some point.

The illustrious John Morgan would like to join the forum specifically to post in this thread, but he's getting a message that registration is closed... can we set him up the bomb, I mean an account?

But I'm not going to say no to something along the lines of old foghorn. Plus i can get drunk and make bad foghat references. So yes, that would be awesome. Also I friend at work said he might donate all his booze to me as his kids are getting older and he doesn't want them getting into it. SO I might have a ton of old liquer to bring

That's a bit much, plus if we did a pig i'd want to do it hawaiian style, and that's a (w)hole thing. If anyone has a turkey fryer we could fry a turkey and/or an assload of hot wings and we could do a hot wing contest.

But if we want to fry a turkey or do a pork loin with injectibles, that could work.

Yeah, if we can figure out a way to conveniently fry a bunch of wings then I'm up for a wing-off during this extravaganza. (Also there's nothing wrong with grilled wings- it could be the chef's choice as to method of preparation.)

I'm doing some digging on the forums for the Big Easy, and it seems that you can do wings in the Big Easy and they look pretty darn good. I may be experimenting with this in the next week or so:

The lodge is secured, i'll have to send him a check. He didn't ask how many people so I won't worry about it for now.
If anyone wants to send me their share via check, shoot me a PM and i'll give you my address.

I'm sending out the check tomorrow for the lodge, I would appreciate people sending me their loot if at all possible. I'm asking for $75/person right now, and if we end up with more than 10 staying both nights I can give change back or put it towards food and booze and whatnot.

Check would be great, I don't have a paypal account that I can recall, maybe I should look into that. If yins are getting together at any point maybe you could all give checks to one person or something, i'm sending JC my address right now. But whatever works for yall.

Alright, so the lodge assholes deposited my check, even though the website doesn't have the dates marked off yet, I'm assuming that we're solid. I've asked Mr. Morgan to handle getting the keys if he has that friday off, so now we just need to work on food and booze.
Nick- How much are you making? Should we consider getting a barrel of something? What about liquor? I'm partial to Irish Car Bombs.
Bull said that he would buy steaks for friday evening, but that's a hell of a lot of meat for the bachelor to purchase, even though steaks are exactly what we need to be eating I don't think bull should be buying them.
That leaves saturday night. If Sean brings his weird fryer thing, we could just do an assload of wings and have people make different sauces or something, but we should have other stuff too.
Just trying to spitball here, also i'm hungry.

We could just do a BYOS(teak) for Friday evening- that'd avoid one person having to supply everybody, and then each party-goer could get their own preferred cut o' meat- I'd be willing to bring a bag of potatoes and some corn on the cob. Also, some shrimp might be good to have with the steak.
