I don't think that's permissible either.
It's one of the reasons why the clips you see in various newscasts comes from the network that had the rights to show the game in the first place, and not their "own" footage.
In some ways, it's pretty cool that the other networks than NBC (FSN & Vs. I assume) allow for the big screen. That may have already been in a contract, but I don't know.

Well they can't innterupt people reality tv programs. I mean if they wanted it they could of bought the rights they make more money then the other channels. It's all supply and demand brother, capitalism at it's finest and shit. Look at the stupid NFL network. I spend over 150 dollars a month for cable and I still can't watch games when they show them on that dumb channel.

Easy, I type something, that's how I bitch about that. I can watch every Steelers game on the networks/local TV. The NHL needs to step it up. I understand it's a less popular sport, but one would think, during the playoffs, that you could see every game on basic cable |

I know and it's just too much money to add that extra sports tier just for that one channel. The other shit is useless, you get like 5 more Fox Sports channels so you can watch all of the Duquesne and IUP football games. |

For my first playoff game, it was fucking brilliant. I think my favorite moment involved some Flyers fans being told that they wouldn't be served unless they bought ten chicken sandwiches in line behind me. Oh yeah, and booing them was really fun, too. |

If any of the Networks were interested in showing NHL playoff games I'm sure they would. With a potential for playing 28 playoff games, I don't think any of our local networks is looking to step up to losing that many nights of primetime broadcasts and the money involved. |

Fortunately, all of the MLB playoff games are aired on FOX, so you should be able to watch them at home...if the shitty pirates ever make the playoffs again. |

So, the speculations about Sykora being injured could be true. You know how closely guarded that information is in the NHL these days, so apparently they are going to go with Satan in the lineup. http://www.postgazette.com/pg/09113/965026-100.stmIf we can win tonight, it might give Sykora some time to nurse a potential "injury" before we start the next series.
