Depends on what kind of snake you're talking about.

People that abuse kids in any way, their own or otherwise, should be drawn and quartered -- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Drawing_and_quartering

Quote
   1. Dragged on a hurdle (a wooden frame) to the place of execution. (This is one possible meaning of drawn.)
   2. Hanged by the neck for a short time or until almost dead. (hanged).
   3. Disembowelled and emasculated and the genitalia and entrails burned before the condemned's eyes (This is another meaning of drawn. It is often used in cookbooks to denote the disembowelment of chicken or rabbit carcasses before cooking).[2]
   4. Beheaded and the body divided into four parts (quartered).

I thought drawing and quartering was when you tied each arm and each leg to a separate horse and made them charge in different directions, ripping the mother fucker apart... guess not.

After reading farther down, I was apparently thinking of the french (which may or may not exist) method of quartering.
