Candidates must also have strong software testing and Q/A skills and must be well versed in software testing strategies. I don't know if anyone would be interested in this but I figured perhaps I should post this job listing from my work too.

The Quality Assurance Software Analyst's primary responsibility is to perform testing and quality assurance activities in complex software systems.  This resource is responsible for all aspects of the testing process from the design of test plans to the execution of test processes.  This includes the creation of test plans, test requirements, test scenarios and test data for use during the testing phase of the release process for major or minor releases, execution of functional, application, regression, voume and performance tests, participation in unit tesssting and design review sessions with developers and functional analysts and reporting of metrics used to track the progress of the testing.  Additionally, this resource will be responsible for defect reporting, problem diagnosis and assisting developers to resolve defects.  She/he will work closely with the project team, developers, project managers, and customers.  This resource will be required to work closely with customers on support and application issues.
The position is also responsible for:

Managing workloads
Software review and reporting
Retrieve data from databases to validate testing efforts
Knowledge and experience in a client server environment
Project management
Customer service skills
Test plan development
Application test case development
Requirement mapping to test cases
Documentation of test results
Communication of changes and defects
Documentation of process flow and application specifics for the customer (internal and external) as well as the systems group for knowledge transfer
Work with the customer to design application changes and enhancements
Communicate changes through flow design and table changes and creation with the developers
Testing newly developed software
Testing enhancements and changes of core and customer specific forms, reports and packages
Work with project managers and developers to ensure the system test plan covers everything
Work closely with the Project Managers, Developers and Trainers
Assist in post production implementation testing
Assist in maintaining test cast library
Ability to work on multiple test projects at once 
 
Required Skills

The successful candidate will have:

B.S. Degree (Computer Science or related field a plus).
Five (5) to ten (10) years of IT experience in applications development & software/systems implementation.
Five (5)+ years of Software QA experience
SQL required, PL/SQL  a plus but not required
UNIX knowledge and understanding required
XML knowledge is a plus
EDI experience
Experience with QA testing tools 
Knowledge and experience in participating in a formal SDLC Process
Database flow and understanding required
Knowledge of Developer tools required
Proven planning, organizational and analytical skills
Customer Service oriented
Excellent project/time management skills required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Self-motivated and able to perform with minimal supervision
Knowledge of Microsoft Project, Word and Excel
Travel may be required - estimate 10% or less time traveling

They don't ever post pay scale stuff with openings. That being said, I have no complaints about my compensation. As far as the requirements -
