Just because they sent Andrew McCutchen to AAA to start the season does not automatically mean that the current management is incompetent and is only committed to making $$ at the expense of the fans.
Why can't people be happy that he had such a productive spring and is clearly much closer to the major leagues than was expected?? Chances are he'll be up this season.. but whether he is or not one rookie isn't gonna single-handedly create a winning season... What the fuck is this... Cleveland with Brady Quinn?

It's a shame that they've moved to a new ball park. There is a great bar called The Beach right next to the old park. It used to be a gas station, but now the 1st floor is a minimart and the upper floor is the bar (complete with deck where you can watch the games).

Back whenever we were kids and lived down there my dad won season tickets to the Charleston Wheelers one year. I just remember that the ballpark had really old-timey troughs in the mens rooms.
I'm glad to see that the new Charleston baseball club is doing well enough to feature promotions like Cash for Gold night featuring Mr. T.
