So, does anyone have plans yet?  Is Shithouse doing a show in the mountains of West Virginia?

I haven't a clue yet what is going on for N.Y.E. yet this year.

Well, if there's nothing else going on, then Sean and I are open to having our annual NYE party.  It will be the last party we have on Balph.

I have no idea what we are doing quite yet - I am hoping we get out and go somewhere, Morgan seems to be pretty cool about being around people lately, so its more of a possibility now.

I can't speak for YORSP, but I would think that if it wasn't booked yet, that nothing is going down in that respect. I'm statin' the obvious here, but don't you guys normally have people over for New Year's?

Yeah, we usually do, but we weren't going to plan anything if Shithouse was playing somewhere.

So far YORSP hasn't gotten any invites for NYE- and that's a show we actually did solicit for.  So I'm figuring at this point it's not happening (for Shithouse).

Are there plans to watch some bowl games anywhere on Friday?

We're going to be w/ family on New Years Eve, but I'd be down for a day of football (or The 2010 Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic) if people are chillin' somewhere.

What Friday is new years day right? I was thinking New Years Eve. I know sean and paco were talking about coming out to the bar near my house. Maybe Friday would be a good day for it.

There might also be beer left that needs drank so Sean can take the keg(s) back.

Ponce's probably right.  Might as well just stay or come back over and keep drinking to finish the keg.
Does anyone know what channels those games are on?

I'm pretty sure the Hockey game is on NBC.

Yes, the Bridgestone Winter Classic (Gregor and I are both receiving payments for these ads) is on NBC at 1pm.. and WVU plays in the Gator Bowl at noon on CBS, Penn State plays in the Capital One Bowl at noon on ABC, and for Bob, Ohio State plays in the Rose Bowl at 3:30 on ABC.
So, you can watch all of those games with only Ponce (and Homesystem) cable.

I am definitely down with watching some serious (ting) bowl games and winter classic on Friday.  I do, unfortunately, have to work on Saturdays now, so it won't be a late night for me.

There might also be beer left that needs drank so Sean can take the keg(s) back.

Just FYI, I think I am going with cases this year instead of the 1/4 barrel.  1/4 barrel is 3.5 cases and we usually end up wasting some due to spillage, foam, etc.  So, I'm thinking 4 different cases (Yeung, PBR, Iron and Miller Lite) and we'll go from there.  Objections?  As always, bring something in case we run out, etc.

Sounds good. I'm gonna bring a sixer or two of that Green Flash IPA.

If folks would be down for doing them, I'd get some Guinness and the other necessary ingredients

Is Yuengling alright for everyone for beer?

I will also have a selection of homebrew as well - Graff (Malted Cider), Stout, Porter, Tripel, Blackberry Wheat, and an IPA (should be ready to drink that night).

You're missing the point.  YOU make people drink what YOU like at the party at YOUR house.  Or at least that's how I look at it as a terrible host.

Paco's right.  Whatever you can provide, we will drink.  Yuengling is always a good choice.
