I might be down, but not this week. As for the alternate venue, I'd like to eliminate Millvale Lanes as an option. I went there for Chris' x-mas party and while the place certainly has an authentic old-timey charm, the lanes are horrible. |

I'll be out of town from this Thursday-Wednesday anyway.. I was looking at Paradise Island Beach and Bowling on Neville Island, but then I read in a review that you can watch music videos while you bowl, which probably means it's too modern-day funplex for our tastes.

Looks like the automatic lanes are probably decent since they were just installed.. and the Sunday night special seems doable since it'd be BYOB. Figure if you had 8 people throw in $5 per person for beer you could get a couple of dirty 30s.. and then easily spend less than Arsenal for a Sunday night. (Granted it's only 3 games, but would we really want to bowl more than that?) |
