At least at this point, we can say that the Steelers won't have a losing season this year.

I think I'm pretty much gonna have to agree with Mr. Woodley.

Of course, I'm sure as hell not going to take for granted that Mr. Woodley & company can take care of their own shit on Sunday either...

Think they'll really play to win?  I don't see why they wouldn't take a seat just to spite us.

Which if I were a fan of the Bengals, I'd be pissed.  I mean, who wants to pay that much for a ticket to watch your team just lay down?

Just like that bullshit in Indy on Sunday- just give up on an undefeated season.. I now have reason to hate the Colts even more.

That would be my prediction as well.
Though, maybe they'll play for the first half like they mean it.

So the Pats ended up ruining our season for us by not winning before either the ravens or the bengals had a chance to. Did the bengals even play their starters at all? I heard the score was 37-0.

We did a pretty good job of ruining it a few weeks before those other teams had a chance to do it.  But yeah, it was a sad state of affairs to be rooting for the damn Raiders and Chiefs.

Yeah they did, for all of the first half... They got handled, I don't like the Jets at all but it was nice seeing the Bengals get pummeled. They only had 7 yards of offense in the first half, meanwhile the Jets had them at 24-0 going into halftime. And when J.T. O'Sullivan and all of the second stringers took over, dear lord that was hilarious. Kat and I had just rewatched Tombstone the other day and we were thinking of applying some of the quotes from that to the Bengals.

Rex Ryan: You wretched slugs, don't any of you have the guts to play like Bungles?
Marvin Lewis: I'm your huckleberry, that's just my game.

And then, after the game:

Rex Ryan: Maybe football's just not your game, Cincinnati. I know, let's have a spelling contest.

Yeah, I guess we've got a super bowl hangover problem after all.  We just need to build up a tolerance.

Yeah... We just need to win more Super Bowls and get used to it.

Only about 9 months till the regular season begins.

Well, as the wise Steinbag said yesterday, at least 'em Stillers are following a pattern:  Superbowl win, disappointing season, decent season (making playoffs), Superbowl win.
So, we can expect number 7 in 2 years.

disclaimer: I'm sure Mike Tomlin doesn't subscribe to this hocus pocus.

Yeah... his team didn't fare to well in the playoffs.

But at least he now has one more chance this season to do something stupid & crazy to get some kind of fine.
