Maybe.  I took the current "trail" to Millvale back in September, but turned around when I got to the road that goes under Rt.28 into "dahntahn Millvale".

We used to do a loop that began w/ the trail to Millvale (including the rough section) and then went back towards West View on Babcack.  Good loop..  As for biking to Sidelines, biking there is not a big deal, it's the biking home after some food and drinks that might be rough.

You talking about after $1.50's bachelor party?  In that case then it was going up Forest, when said biff occurred.  That was a pretty rough couple of miles.  Also, my knee still hurts slightly from falling during drunk biking in Chincoteague.. I should probably get that looked at.

If/When they have to temporarily close it, I wonder where PAT will route the 500 & 16B.  In general, it will make for a temporary pain in the ass.

Yeah that's gonna suck.  I didn't realize how old that bridge was.  Wonder if they are also gonna get around to the Davis Ave bridge.

Quote
The county Department of Public Works will replace four deteriorated concrete beams under the bridge deck, fix some of columns holding up the beams, replace the deck and sidewalks and add stairs from the bridge deck to the valley below, said Steve Shanley, bridge operations manager.

Why? There's absolutely nothing down there - Farragut Ave is just an industrial wasteland that eventually ends at the railroad tracks. They have money for this but they don't have money for stairs down from Davis down to Woods Run and then a set back up to the park? If they're never gonna redo that bridge then at least do that

I hope that shit doesn't turn out to be toxic... it was tracked all the way dahn 28 and onto the 31st St Bridge, where I rode my bike through it. It's all over me now.

Nah... I heard about that shit before I left the house, so I stayed on Beaver Ave. to the Casino, and then headed to the ramp @ Ridge Ave (near CCAC) that loops around to the Ft. Duquesne Bridge.
If I wouldn't have had the TV on, or missed the report, it would have been real shitty.

Apparently some car wash had a soap malfunction and it was all over the highway.  At least that's what Kim said she sat through on the ORB.

I think it was some sort of truck or something that spilled dumped it's load all over the road. And it seemed to be some sort of soapy like substance.

Is 'spilled dumped' when something spills and dumps at the same time, but the spilling and dumping are both exponentially greater than normal spilling and dumping?
In which case, if you spilled dumped in the bathroom you'd have a serious mess to clean up.
