Got my ticket for 1pm.
If anyone was planning on going but still hasn't gotten one, they are $40 thru Saturday, but then it goes up $5 to $45 on May 1st. (In case you missed it on their site...)

From Sidelines email: First, we want to thank all of you who came out for the Beer Club
Party this past Saturday. We hope you all had a great time, and we
look forward to the next party. We have schedules the next Beer Club
Party for the last Saturday in May, and we are working on putting
together an awesome presentation of Sour Beer, Geuze, Lambics, and how
they are all made. We'll keep you posted....
Second, if anyone has noticed, Seabass hasn't been around lately.
Unfortunately, he was hospitalized for a few days. Nothing too
serious, but it kept him out of work last week, and will keep him out
for at least the next two weeks. My staff is trying to put together a
fundraiser this Thursday for him to help pay his medical bills. They
are donating their time and ALL OF THEIR TIPS for our Cinco De Mayo
Party with DJ Starr. Seabass has been a great friend and great
employee of mine, and I am doing what I can to help him out. It is my
staff's hope that you will help them raise money for what they feel is
a very good cause. We hope to see as many of you as possible this
Thurday! I will most definitely plan on heading out for this. Support the bass. |

I saw him when his mom dropped him off last week. He was on crutches and limping around obviously but other than that he seemed to be in great shape and spirits. He did mention that he had multiple x-rays and scans done so I'm sure his hospital bill will be outrageous. I was actually thinking of how to organize some sort of fundraiser to help him out.

I kinda wish this wasn't two weekends right after the Penn BrewFest. I am still mildly interested in going though. It's that time again! The Summer Beer Tasting has been set for
Saturday, June 18th at 6:30pm. We have put the finishing touches on
the beer list for this event, and again, I think it is going to be
awesome! We are still keeping the price at $25+tax, and we are even
bringing in some extra high ticket items for this one. Price includes
12 Beer Samples, and appetizer plate, prizes, giveaways, and a 4-pack
of your favorites to take home. However, we are going to try something
a little different this time. In the past, we have excluded some of
the beers from the 4-packs because they were just too expensive for us
to give away and keep the ticket prices low. This time, all bottled
beer will be included, and we will just add an upcharge for certain
beers depending on their price (this should only be 2 or 3 beers this
time). Most beers will still be available without any upcharge at all.
Please email me if you have any questions.
We will only be selling 50 tickets for this event, and tickets go on
sale on Wednesday, June 1st at Noon. Due to prior experiences, we will
NOT be able to reserve or hold any tickets for any reason. If you can
not make it down here, we do have the ability to take credit card
purchases over the phone. THIS WILL SELL OUT!! Get your tickets early
and get in on the fun!
As a Beer Club Member, you are receiving this email three days before
we will announce the tasting at the bar. We will release tickets to
everyone on Friday June 3rd, so take advantage of three day head

A) They couldn't process the original on-time application because of OVERpayment... B) Another thing that's fucked up is they can't get this license because the government is "shut down", but they can't sell it cause they don't want to get caught selling it without it. If the government is "shut down" to the point where they can't get the license, then they should still be able to sell it cause the "Beer Police" should be "shut down" too. But that's apparently not the case, and that's dicked up. Also, the guy stocking up because his wife just had their kid and drinks Miller Lite is pretty funny. At least she (probably) wasn't drinking it while pregnant.

When I was there last week they were focusing on their new years party tickets and the beer tasting wasn't on sale yet. I think you have to buy them in person. |
