And Kraig sent an e-mail about being asked to play at the Hayride this Sunday. I said I'z down wit it, as long as we didn't have to show up till after the Steelers game... but that's been the only response thus far.

I don't care that much about this shit anyway... Not like we don't play Howler's that often (at least in proportion to our total shows). So in this instance, I'll refrain from throwing around terms like "Rock & Roll Pussy"

Also... it doesn't matter that much since the Bocktown show 2 days later is more important. Perhaps even practice-worthy.
(Certainly important enough to miss what is probably going to be new stories)

Speaking of which, we probably should practice for the Bocktown show. I would've sent out an email but I don't have a computer at home (it's with Deena) and I can't check my email at work, so let's discuss it here.
Thursday night could work well, or even Friday. Whatta yinz think?

Technically no... it has to do with the whole convoluted way this past weekend worked out with me coming back to Pgh. on Sunday and her going from DC to Crown Heights then back to DC and returning to Pgh tomorrow, leaving me without the necessary means for the necessary means for computer use.
Maybe I'll have to use the Aquarium Internet Cafe tonight.

Yeah, you definitely did. I hope The Dizzer becomes a recurring character... and everytime he appears he uses his catch phrase and Stabler roles his eyes and then a studio audience shouts "Boo-Ya!". That'd be quality tv.

Yeah... if they ever started having a studio audience, I'd try to get in on that shit.
I wonder who does a better job of "Bringing the new hotness"... DJ Jake the DJ, or the Dizzer...?

Apparently Dick Wolf signs Sam Waterston to 1-year deals each year for the original Law & Order. He has now been in (over) 328 episodes. http://www.pittsburghlive.com/x/pittsburghtrib/living/s_597747.htmlS. Epatha Merkerson, who portrays Lt. Anita Van Buren, with 350 episodes. That's a lot of fucking episodes.

I don't know how promising the TV promos of this weeks episode made it look, but this written description makes it sound like it may be decent. Stabler goes undercover to break up an animal-smuggling ring, and he gets help from a group insider, hip-hop artist Gots Money (Big Boi). Benson provides further assistance by posing as a prostitute, but this leads to complications in Stabler's marriage. Oscar Assadorian: Carlos Leon. I may try to remember to record it since there is the YORSP show tonight. Though there's a good chance I'll forget. The advertisement that got associated with looking that up was for this book: http://www.amazon.com/True-Stories-Law-Order-Thorndike/dp/1410405958%3FSubscriptionId%3D10YVF75G6G1XD1C83E82%26tag%3Dtvguideonli02-20%26linkCode%3Dsp1%26camp%3D2025%26creative%3D165953%26creativeASIN%3D1410405958No one has yet to review it... but it includes photos. That actually sounds kind of creepy.

Also in stories related news, Richard Belzer will be on the Daily Show on Thursday night. Episodes of the show are available at the comedy central website if you don't have that channel and want to watch.

Didn't see last weeks episode (obviously, with the YORSP show), and haven't seen any previews of this weeks episode on the TV. Benson often gets emotionally involved in her work, and that's true tonight when she covers a domestic-violence case. Even after the battered woman (Clea DuVall) drops all charges against her husband, Benson perseveres and hides in a stairway to try to protect her. While hiding, Benson comes across another crime: a 34-year old unsolved murder case. Mike Farrell and Brenda Blethyn guest star.
