Two things, is there a reason we had to start a new "Things on the Web" thread for this?  Also, yes, Pittsburg is near San Francisco.  Funny thing is that Pittsburgh was the last stop on the eastbound BART train when I lived out there.  So if you got drunk in the city and hopped the last train out at night and fell asleep or passed out, you ended up in Pittsburg.  There's a ton of cabs that wait for the last train to take all the passed out drunkies home.

1) I'm testing to see if this improves performance any.  Other boards using the same software we use sometimes see a degradation in performance after 25 pages or so.  Since I've seen a lot more "waiting..." messages, I'm seeing if this helps any. Plus, I just felt like it, so there.

2) awesome.

I was just listening to the X-minus One version of this story, and it occured to me that this is probably where the Grateful Dead got the idea for Dark Star.

Just thought I'd share.

1) He has a point, I was gonna suggest starting a new thread a few days ago, but he beat me to it. I think cutting it off after 25 is a good compromise - between those who wnat one thread for everything they "found on the web", and those who think the former is a ridiculous idea

Does anyone remember what that link was where you could look up anyone's driving records?  I think Paco was the one who posted it after all those cops came looking for Ralph.
