I was thinking of when I was a kid and I used to have a vhs tape that I would watch and I had a gun that I would shoot at flashing things on the screen with. I was trying to figure out how it worked, (it probably didn't) and I came across this video of what I remember.

http://www.in.com/videos/watchvideo-captain-power-training-video-3-raid-on-volcania-1744138.html

I think the gun was a spaceship and if you got shot too many times (you had to shoot the blast before they hit you) Your action figure would eject form the cockpit.

wait I found it.

They should make one of these nowadays with hd tv's and bluray this would be awesome.

They had one like that for driving, too.  If you didn't stay on the road, the car would pop off the little stand that you put in front of the TV.

I remember Captain Power- I had that spaceship, but I tended to use it more for a gun & didn't play the tv game all that much from what I remember.

Wasn't the actor who played Captain Power on the tapes Lloyd Braun on Seinfeld?

Doesn't look like it:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tim_Dunigan

But apparently it was the same actor who played Face on the A Team before Dirk Benedict.

Wow, I remember that thing.  I recall you having to hit a button at the end of the video and it would beep for every point you scored and you had to count them.  I would spend hours playing that thing.

Yeah it was the shit! I talked about it before to a few people and they all thought I was nuts, and didn't believe me. I was starting to think I made it up.

I also looked up this cool action figure I had. I described it to many people and they told me it was a visionary. But it wasn't I finally found it and it's a figure called burnheart from "the supernaturals".

I guess if you peeled back the top just a little bit, it would work just as well as wine in a can.

Okay, now this is brilliant.  I want to open one of these.  Just a cart with a couple fryers on it.  You choose what you want (veggies, oreo, donuts, cupcakes, hotdogs, etc), I dip it in tempura style batter and fry it.

Having had frogs' legs before, I have to say that they are pretty overrated, probably even if you deep fry them.

It's got a cop motor, a 440 cubic inch plant, it's got cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas. What do you say, is it the new Bluesmobile or what?

Or maybe I'll be like Frank Reynolds and start impersonating a police officer for free hot dogs.
