That was OK.... I don't know if I'd qualify it as "awesome" though.

One of the most awesome things I've read in a while:

http://www.simulation-argument.com/simulation.html

Quote
It may be possible for simulated civilizations to become posthuman. They may then run their own ancestor-simulations on powerful computers they build in their simulated universe. Such computers would be “virtual machines”, a familiar concept in computer science. (Java script web-applets, for instance, run on a virtual machine – a simulated computer – inside your desktop.) Virtual machines can be stacked: it’s possible to simulate a machine simulating another machine, and so on, in arbitrarily many steps of iteration. If we do go on to create our own ancestor-simulations, this would be strong evidence against (1) and (2),  and we would therefore have to conclude that we live in a simulation. Moreover, we would have to suspect that the posthumans running our simulation are themselves simulated beings; and their creators, in turn, may also be simulated beings.

Wow that was mind blowing....  Roll Eyes

Don't roll your fuckin eyes at me.  That was some  heavy shit and you know it.  There's a 33% chance that we're in a simulation right now, and a 33% chance that our civilization will be destroyed before we become Posthumans.  That's Ilium shit, son.

Didn't they become post human and then just fuck up the entire universe until the robots and achilles joined together and stopped them with the help of a scholar from the 21st century oh and Ulysses and the Wandering Jew?

I just thought it was cool that before the turned posthuman they decided to recreate dinosaurs and shit.

Yeah, the RNArtists or whatever they were called.  I don't know if they fucked up the universe, but they did simulate the Trojan war.  Oh, they sent robots out to study the outer solar system but they turned out to be really cool guys who really appreciate Shakespeare and classical music and shit.

Yeah those robots were really awesome. But I thought the posthumans activities with the branehole things were causing instability in the universe and that's why the robots travelled to mars where they found the trojans led by achilles attacking the gods? And then there was the whole Calliban and that stebos thing.

the branehole things

Is that supposed to be brainhole or branhole? Because one sounds pretty cool and the other sounds pretty disgusting.

This coming from the same restaurant that decided to just put a bunch of their food in a bowl, mix it all up, and top it with cheese and call it a "Famous Bowl".

That being said, I was surprised by this:

The sandwich is not, however, a calorie bomb. The Original Recipe version is 540 calories — about the same as a Big Mac.

If they added a bacon loaf with a couple slices of cappicola between the pieces of chicken that would awesome!
