Upon arriving, (Paco & Kim were already in the lot), we walked over to find the gate closed & locked. Some lady shouted from a distance that "Night Swim ended with the concert" (or something like that, couldn't hear her too well). I don't know what the hell she was referring to, as their web site indicated NONE of this.
So I was quite pissed off since (A) I was looking forward to getting some swimming in on what is looking to be the last good day of summer for it, and (B) I ended up going all the way over there for what turned out to be absolutely nothing.
That does suck, but did you really think that a community pool's website would be accurate and up to date? That's like expecting people over 30 to check their email once a day. |

I wouldn't expect them to update their site for shit like spur-of-the-moment closings... like bad weather and that shit...
But this scheduling sounds like something that was planned far in advance (especially if there was some sort of concert involved).
In addition to Paco, Kim & Myself, some other people also pulled in expecting to swim as well.
