It was really classy of the Philadelphia fans to boo and/or swear the entire time during the trophy/cup presentation.

Not very surprising from the same town that brings you these...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Philadelphia_Eagles#Eagles_fans

Quote
Some Eagles fans have been involved in a series of high-profile incidents of rowdy behavior, including:

    * Bounty Bowl II, where a barrage of snowballs and batteries from the stands forced police to escort Dallas Cowboys head coach Jimmy Johnson, off the field;
    * "all-out debauchery" at the November 10, 1997, game against the San Francisco 49ers, featuring a fan with a flare gun, a large brawl on an upper level, and an Eagles fan being mauled because his friend was wearing a New York Giants jacket; all leading to six arrests and 269 ejections from the stadium, as well as a ban on beer sales for the remainder of the season and the introduction of the famous "Eagles Court" in the stadium's basement;
    * pelting Santa Claus with snowballs; and
    * cheering after watching Cowboys wide receiver Michael Irvin suffer a career-ending injury that required him to be removed from the field in an ambulance.

Police say that rowdy behavior has decreased since the Eagles moved to Lincoln Financial Field in 2003. Increased costs have priced out some of the problem fans and increased security measures have given stadium staff the ability to address unruliness more quickly, though ESPN still advises fans of opposing teams to "tread lightly" when visiting Lincoln Financial Field.

So does the 'Eagles Court' actually mean that they set up a court room in the stadium to immediately charge people for acting like drunken assholes?  Cause that's just sad.

I guess so:

"In 1993, McCaffery won election to Municipal Court in Philadelphia. With support from members of the city council, he developed Eagles Court in 1998 in response to a 1997 Monday Night Football game between the Eagles and the San Francisco 49ers. With over 60 fistfights reported at the nationally televised game, stadium violence became an embarrassment for the city. McCaffery presided over the court, which was convened in the basement of Veterans Stadium, and handed out fines or jail time to fans arrested during games. [4]"

I like to think that Eagles Court could also be a tv court show (in the vein of the Judge Reinhold show on Arrested Development) where Don Henley and Joe Walsh are the judges.

WPXI ran this "ad" during their news this evening.  Figured I might as well give Sidelines my "vote".

-EDIT- The comment section currently has 3 entries, 2 of which endorse the Big Shot Bob's.

hmm that's tough I like so many wings. Sidelines is up there, but I also like the b-hams erik the red when they are cooked right. Also that Valentines place we went to in Springdale had some pretty awesome wings. And the Hula bar's hot garlic parmesan are pretty tasty also. I geuss the last two aren't really in the city of pittsburgh though. Not sure if they are taking that into consideration or not.

Yeah, I still wanna go back to that Valentines place pretty soon.  But, if I am going to take the highest local score I've given, it's got to be Hooters...  wait, WTF?!?  I mean, Sidelines!

Speaking of Erik the Red, anyone wanna maybe check out the B-Ham for the Stiller / Pitt game tomorrow?  And I think I'm going Wings and Sidelines tonight.

Here is the recipe for the wings I made during the Fantasy Draft. I made a large quantity at the time. Hopefully it is all there cause I'm going by memory...

1 64oz. bottle of Generic Ketchup
1 bottle Worchestershire Sauce
1 bottle of Tabasco
1 bottle of Franks Red Hot
Red Wine Vinegar
2 Heavy Spoonfuls of Brown Sugar
Entire Small container of Cayenne Pepper Powder
Handful of Pepper Flakes
2 Heavy Spoon Fulls of Sour Cream
Kosher Salt & Pepper
Some Oregano

Mix all in a pot thoroughly and simmer for about 45 minutes. Let set in fridge for same amount of time. Ready for wing sauce!

Damn. That's alot of sauce. Unless you're Ponce, in which case that would cover about 6 wings.

I wasn't sure how much to make at the time and figured I could freeze the remainder for a later time.

http://www.cnn.com/2010/LIVING/09/06/wing.championship/index.html

While I like to enjoy my wings and have no desire for the competitive eating...

It would have been nice if they elaborated on whether the wings were whole or sections (I'm guessing sections)... sauced (and if so, what flavor) and/or breaded, and how "clean to the bone" (yeah, I'm not sure of a better term at the moment) they had to be eaten.

In the video they look like half wings, and I would guess that they are traditional buffalo based on their location.  No clue about the breading though.

If they are traditional then there is no breading.

Shit... I didn't even notice it was a video and not just a picture at first.

They're certainly wing sections... but I can't tell if they are sauced or plain.  If they are sauced, it would be pretty thin & light.

So, here's the list of places WPXI has chosen (minus 1 at the time of this posting.  By the time anyone reads this they may have it updated)

Sidelines & Big Shot Bobs are the only ones I think I've had.  (I've had the Quaker Steak & Lube, but not at that location)

Bull.. you know anything about TMV Brothers in Verona??.

Even though their wings don't compare to Sidelines or Big Shot Bob's it's good to see that Monterey Pub made the list.
