Is anyone else having these two problems --

1) Sometimes when I click on "Quote" from a thread - which should go to a reply screen with the quote already inserted - at the top of the windows, a big green bar appears with "Loading..." displayed, then it basically does nothing.

2) For whatever reason I can't insert a line break (i.e. - by hitting ENTER) on any of the reply boxes (I typed this up in Notepad)

The "Loading" bar, puts the comment you're quoting in the quick reply box, at the bottom of the page.

What Browser/Version/OS are you running?

Hmm its working now, maybe it was just a fluke with this keyboard (its all old and goofy and has those extra buttons on it - "Mail","Web", etc. Except none of them work, not that I wanted them to, but I think they're just screwing everything up.

Someone just left so Im gonna snag their keyboard

Are you working in a college computer lab?  I don't usually steal my coworkers keyboards when they leave their desks.

Well, I already have one that works fine.  Stealing another one would make no sense.

My keyboard at work has buttons like that, so I reset them to do different stuff. Now I have buttons that launch our Oracle test and production instances, one for IE, two for differnet shared drive folders, one for Excel, one for Notepad and one for SnagIt.

You don't need to put it in code tags. Just type ":ba rf", without the space (or quotes).
