Thought I'd start a topic for us to post some bands we've recently heard of. Or a place to suggest good albums to one another. Iv'e recently heard these guys on the radio, I've listen to a few songs so far and so fa rliked what I hear.

I like those guys too. I heard some live stuff on NPR and it was really good.

I just picked up "I Mean To Live Here Still" by David Karsten Daniels and Fight The Big Bull and it's one of the best albums I've heard in years.

I just listened to the Mumford and Sons whole CD "Sigh No More" and it's amazing!!!  Really really good stuff!!

Wow he does... (The pic wasn't part of the article earlier when I posted it....)

He played at Pittsburgh a while back, and had throat issues and apparently only sang 2 songs.  The reviews of that show weren't great.
