Tickets definitely went up since I went in 2005 though -

Quote
Tickets for 2008 Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival are priced at three levels.

The first tickets will be priced at a special rate of $209.50 each. There is a limited allotment of tickets at this price. When the first allotment is sold out, ticket prices will increase without notice to $229.50 and then again without notice to $244.50.

The early bird tix were around $140 back then, and I got the latest round for $180

That line-up really is line-up is rigoddamndiculous.
I bet "Lez Zeppelin" has lesbians in it.

I'd rather take a trip to Woodstock to see Levon Helm in his own turf.

Thats gonna be just a clusterfuck of way different people wanting to see way different music. MTV took it over about a year and a half or so ago. That explains Metallica and Kanye West, and to a lesser extent Pearl Jam

That seems to be a reason not to go. Not wanting to spend $209-$244 is an even better one.

Yeah thats way too much money for a festival
My second reason to not go would be Metallica and Kanye, just because of the crowd they would bring.
Third, I already went when it was around 90,000 people (and it was fun but hell on earth at the same time)
