I've been asked to DJ in between sets much like the Mr Devious BBT Grand Reopening Party.  So, I thought ya'll might be interested.  Doug is an solo acoustic rock act and I am pretty sure the other band is to.  Here's the e-mail Doug sent out with the details:

Good news to announce.  The date for my headlining show at Club Cafe has been set.  I'll be playing at Club Cafe Saturday, June 27th.  Doors open at 6pm.  We'll have an area DJ (that's me) spinning nutty surf rock tunes from around 6-7pm.  At 7pm, area, moderate rock band 3 More Than Venice will take the stage.  I'll take the stage after them, for at least an hour of quality DD tuneage.  It'll be like our own, mini Lollapalooza.  :-)  Maybe we'll even decorate the joint with some craziness.

Show will end around 9pm, and then we'll party down in the Southside.  We'll try and line up a bar or destination where everyone can head afterwards, to keep the night going. 

Tickets will be on sale through the Club Cafe ticket site for $10 each.  I'll distribute the link once I have it.

I have tickets in hand.  I know, I know, it's the South Side on a Saturday, but it's the early show.  Starts at 6PM (when I start playing) and goes until 9PM.  We'd be outta there before the shit crowd really kicks in.  Doug is a good artist and quite enjoyable.  I can't speak for the middle band only because I haven't heard 'em, but they should be good, too.  Hit me up, $10 bones.  I'm planning on donating whatever I make at the show to a good cause (and no, not Ponce's drinking habit, Bob's tobacco habit or Paco's male prostitue habit).

Just a reminder that this show is coming up this week.  I know folks had verbally told me they were interested, but I still have tickets in hand.  I'm out in Cali for work this week, but if you let me know if you need any tickets, I can hold them for you.  I'd like to get as many of you folks out as possible as this will be a fun night.  Like I said, it's the early show, so we'd have the rest of the night ahead of us to continue the fun.  I hope to see you all there.
