It might be a good investment for YORSP, since it would work for both some live recording and finishing up the album. We could send the tracks on the ADATs right now into that, then use the remaining 8 for overdubs. If YORSP was practiced up (big if) we could use it to record some shows and maybe put some high quality live tracks on the album.

Well, YORSP is gonna have to get 'practiced up' cause we have a Bocktown show in a couple weeks... which we could record if we had this particular item.

Probably not much more practiced up than we get for any other shows.

I'm not able to go, but if someone else is then I can get you the guy's contact info. I sent him an email to see if he still had it, and he says he does. What say you HS, does YORSP have $75.00 left in the fund?

Yes, but I'd have to give it to whoever's going tonight after work since we're driving to DC tonight - perhaps I could just drop if off w/ Ponce on our way ahhta tahn and he can either go on the mission or deliver it to whoever is. I personally vote for a Bull/Ponce mission to Butler. I could even throw in an extra $15 for gas, since YORSP still has $100 from Howler's. It's just nice to think that Howler's will have bought us our piece of recording equipment.

I think that's a good use of the Howlers loot. Then we'll still have the Bocktown loot we'll get to get the actual CD's (Once we actually finish that shit)

Yeah... except this is much more purposeful, and probably about only 1/3rd of the distance (1-way).

May as well. An $800 machine for $75 may seem too good to be true, but I suppose we can always look at it before the money changes hands.

Actually I would love to see a band that is Grant playing drums and Bull playing a Kaoss Pad that he has strapped to his chest.

Not really. Mind you, it's a foregone conclusion we'll, at the least, get buzzed up. I was refering more to the fact that we'll probably manage to arrange 1 practice at most. I'm down for more (or maybe working on the album), but we'll see what actually happens in the next week and a half.

If this thing pans out, we might want to look into getting a rack case for one of the ADATs down the road. Actually we'd probably be best off getting a 10 space rack so it could hold the ADAT, Patch Bay, Compressor, (and at some point) a Power Conditioner and additional Power Amp.
That would give us a pretty good live recording setup.
