It is recycling week, but the only city neighborhood that I know for sure gets Friday pickup is the Mexican War Streets...
If you have a lot of cans, you can just put them in the alley behind my house. They'll disappear within minutes

They are picking up trash again. The recycling is every other week and each neighborhood has its own days. So you can't just drive into the city and leave recycling somewhere all willy nilly. I mean you could, if you wanted to be a dick.
They don't pick up recycling at all where you live?

You might not remember this, but I lived in lawrenceville for a few years... and they pick up on friday morning. I was just asking if they were picking up yet because of the snow.
No they don't do recycling at all where I live.

Yeah I know that, just the progression on the conversation was confusing - Matt said that the only neighborhood that he knew for sure that had Friday pickups was the Mexican War Streets You then somehow deduced from that that they weren't picking up anything They announced in the news that they were back to picking up trash and recycling in the middle of last week IIRC. Anyways, I'm sure you figured it out by now. Waste Management just took literally a room of trash from us this morning (all of the trash/boxes from the move and recycling from the last 4 weeks) |

Well anyways the backseat of my car is now full of blue trash bags. I didn't see any blue bags out lastnight even though I looked it up and it should of been recycling week. Perhaps people are just not putting it out because of the snow or something blocking their usual pick up stops.

You should actually burn that shit in your basement, since the ashes from the burned plastic and paper will absorb the water that will flood in through your walls because of the melted snow. And it will keep your house warm, you can turn down your furnace! |
