You remember when they played this show:

"Raffle" is a pretty kick-ass track.

I'd argue that, but somehow this foul smelling individual has 14 Karma points.  I'm glad the universal balance of nature finally got it's shit together and went digital. FUCK

Maybe they do something else but if I applaud a post you made, you get +1 peyton manning (er +1 karma).  I guess smite takes one away?

Huh?  Wouldn't "applauding" be a positive thing?  If you were to get a "+1 peyton manning", wouldn't that be associated with something negative or other such douchebaggery?

Yes, a +1 peyton manning would be just that: douchebaggery.  I was referring to the conversation at Ikesgiving about Fantasy D&D Football but it really didn't apply here.

I guess I would get a +1 non sequitor for that one.

As you may be able to see, the positive action is now [boo!], the negative being [nitpickery].

Wait.... so if someone says some shit that's nitpickery, obviously that's nitpickery.  If someone makes a real horrible joke that would ordinarily get a "boo" there is "boo"... what if someone actually makes a pretty good or witty joke worth praise?

That's what [boo!] is for.  I'm using the Grant-style of "boo!", which is considered a positive remark, in someone's brain, somewhere.

am I missing something? Are there buttons that actually say "boo" and "nitpickery"? How do I applaud a post?

The SYSOP appears to have given himself +5000's Boo's (the good kind).  Congratulations, sir.
Matt, I think you have to post a certain number of times (10 maybe?) before you see the Boo/Nitpickery above names.

Gregor-  it might make more sense to have 'boo!' be the negative and 'good!' be the positive... meaning the way that stoned Ponce said 'Good!' in the Emperor Palpatine voice to the Mexipends joke following Lumberjam last year.
